Statistics for the Millions! Presenting Statistics and Operations Research to the public.
The Annual Meeting of the VvS+OR 2012 will be held on Thursday March 29, 2012 at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. We are honored to announce Sam Savage (Stanford University), Nicholas Fisher (Value Metrics Australia, University of Sydney) and Ionica Smeets (Science Journalist, Universiteit Leiden) as the keynote speakers of this annual meeting. The program information can be found below or in the latest STAtOR issue (click here). The lectures are open to members of the Society, speakers and invited guests. Interested non-members can access the day when they become a member of the Society in advance (click here), or pay the amount of €50,- up front (bank account: 202091, VvS+OR, "registration annual meeting") and bring proof of payment (copy of bank statement) to show at the registration desk at the entrance room.
In order to complete practical arrangements all visitors are asked to register in advance using the registration form, click here. Confirmation of registration serves as proof of entry.
