Dhr. prof.dr. H.W. Methorst (1868 - 1955). Mr. Professor H.W. Methorst was appointed honorary president of the Society at the extraordinary general meeting of members October 11, 1950 at the Pulchri Studio in Den Haag.
"An award to honor the man who has done more then anyone else for societal statistics in the Netherlands."
